Also Admin when i walk on netherack with no fire on it i will randomly get caught on fire
For sure gavin if there was some way i could show u the video you'll understand. Its been happining for months now
I have video proof but apparently the video size is too large to add to this what happens is I will walk on a block Netherrack and it will get me caught on fire

Ik its really since 1.17 I searched for 2 hours to just find a vine of 2 diamonds after going threw like 4 strip mines with over 256 torches used and that's it. So I looked all over as of 1.17, 1.17.2 & 1.17.10 y level 5 is best for diamonds as of the new block deepslate has took over where diamonds should be in y level 11. Currently as of any update in 1.17 y 5 is the best. Try it. When 1.18 comes out in winter it'll be completely different diamonds will best spawn at y level -64
With 1.17 it just got slot harder. Y 11 sucks for it I was in ur exact situation the solution is mine at y level 5 in 1.17 for diamonds its a lot faster... And for 1.18 u need to mine at y level -64 to find diamonds cause the final part of caves and cliffs update changes ore generation completely. Hope this helps. 🙂
