I can confirm the issue. I recently created a world in the new update and immediately tried to save and quit and the game froze. My device is Samsung Galaxy Tab S ans I'm running on Android 6.0. It happens since January (can't quite remember which version that was) and is quite annoying since it worked for the past three years that I already have the app!
