Just purchased AppleTV Minecraft with Nimbus Controller from Apple Store.
First time launching game am asked to sign in to xbox live. Given web address to go to and code to link game to my account. Opened the link on both iPhone and Mac in both Safari and Firefox, am able to enter the code shown but am then redirected to an error page stating;
"We're unable to complete your request
Microsoft account is experiencing technical problems. Please try again later."
Have been through to Microsoft account support and Xbox support teams both of which could offer no help. My AppleTV is fully up to date, have restarted the device and no change. The game version is 1.1.5 and has been freshly installed.
Have tested the login functionality on my iPad running version 1.2 of the game and it works fine there. This must be a bug in AppleTV version with Xbox Live login API?
