I’m having the same problem—I can’t change my skin, the 'Edit Character' button doesn’t work, and the character change icon on the left side doesn’t do anything either. The Marketplace also shows the same error on Minecraft versions 1.21.80.3 and 1.21.81.2. The Beta version has the same bug on Android. It seems like the only playable version without this bug is 1.21.72.1.

I know I installed free Minecraft from the MCPEDL chrome web, but in the past I could get achievements from downloading free Minecraft versions. The reason is yes the problem is, I have the money but don't know how to top up.
