Happens to boats when I dismount all the time.  On 1.14.4 vanilla java server.

The same thing keeps happening to me on a vanilla java server on 1.14.4.  The endermite is named and endermen can't get to it.  It stays for an hour or two and while I'm still in its chunk, despawns.  I'd know if it had died because it would say so in chat, but there is no message.  My enderman farm just stops working.  I'd love to get this figured out because grinding is impossible with this bug.
