But even in survival mode if you were to try and place the egg down it would not use the egg nothing would happen but you swinging your arm.

Just in case this is a duplicate I have searched for "Levitation Potion Doesn't Save You" before I created it.

Sorry if this a duplication of another report, I could not find a report like this, though.

That would explain why it starts after the first space.

Also, in 14w11b, using the command "/fill 944 253 -624 991 253 -577 command_block 0 {Command:tp @p ~ 32 ~}" will say "Data tag parsing failed: Unbalanced curly brackets {}: @p ~ 32 ~}". It apparently does not read the whole data tag.
