I'm relatively new, playing MCPE. This is a consistent issue for me. I've probably lost hundreds of villagers from random despawning, dozens that I've lovingly leveled up to Masters, sad face.
I recently noticed a sheep that I had in a fenced area despawn as well.
I've added nametags (Doug the Librarian) and theyve still despawned.
I'm also in peaceful so no hostile mob murders.
My village recently went from maybe 20 villagers to maybe... Two professions and three nitwits. This is incredibly annoying. 😣
