Sorry for necroposting - I still have this sort of issue, where there are lines on my screen when I am set on fire in any way. There can be between 1 line and 4 thick lines. Please help!
I know necroposting is bad, but I'm getting this issue, and even though the issue is marked as resolved, I can't find a fix. As well as getting that weird line when I'm set on fire, I also have these odd transparent lines at the edge of my swords and tools. I couldn't find a fix for that either. I thought it may be a GPU issue but I've seen YouTubers with the same issue, which makes me think it's not my GPU. Can someone please help?

I think this is a problem with Minecraft, because my friends and some YouTubers use the exact same pack, and they don't have this problem. In fact, I've never seen anybody ever have this problem. Also, this isn't just with texture packs - it also happens with Minecraft's default texture pack.
