So, I actually mined it but it still points at it.

You have to hit it at least 1 time to it recognizes that you have killed the Ender Dragon.

I'm playing BE and each time I break my blast furnace, it drops a lot of experience! 👍

You can block your shield in front of the experience orb(s) and wait to absorb it/them faster! I don't know why this works but I have tried many times and now I can verify it.

Because it's on bedrock edition launcher.
