I've been playing on a 1.2 GB survival world for 3 years now. Yesterday, I made a creative copy for testing. That world is unaffected. Today, I came back to the survival world to find almost all entities gone within the 10 chunk simulation distance. No less than 50 entities were lost. 3 cats, 1 fish, and 1 minecart somehow survived the snap well within the affected area. A base I have 300 blocks away is unaffected.
