THANK YOU SO MUCH!! This bug has been extremely annoying, as it crashes the game when in the loading screen, preventing any version of the game to work. I'm still deciding whether the problem is the launcher or the game itself, I believe it's the launcher giving insignificant data to start the game because this is happening with every version. That's all I know... but again, thanks for looking into it.
I'm still experiencing this in 1.19! I'm building a little game, and the world spawn makes you face the wall in the first room (which isn't very intuitive), and attempting to change the camera degree with direct commands and command blocks does nothing. This seems to be a direct bug of this command and is very annoying. The command feedback says the input I gave, but the game still ignores it.
