I'm having the same issue! None of the other people joining the realm have this issue and I know this isn't an issue with my device or Wi-Fi. I've tried logging onto a different device and using an Ethernet cable along with a hotspot. I've even gone as far as uninstalling and reinstalling Minecraft as well as leaving the realm.
