I found that it costs nearly 40 levels of EXP to put all enchants onto a sword. After enchanting, it costs nearly 33 levels to rename. Costing a lot of EXP to enchant an item and repairing an item makes sense, since it upgrades the item. Changing the name of the item doesn't change the item's value, so it shouldn't be penalized so harshly. It would be a great 'quality of life' change if renaming an item didn't cost nearly as much as the enchants do themselves.
