I also have this issue. My DualShock 4 works fine in Rec Room, Stardew Valley, and Asphalt 9, but Minecraft has only ever detected it once on this version of iOS. I'm using in iPhone SE 2nd Gen.

EDIT: Oddly, my controller just started working again. I'm not sure if it will work later though.
