This happened to me too on Win10. I could not craft anything using cobblestone. I had to use stone, or some other mineral (andesite). It was in my own survival world, but I played in it after playing on (and logging out of) Lifeboat. I did not restart the game. I'll try that. Seems that we should not have to restart.
Okay. Sorry about that. This all gets a little confusing.
I contacted microsoft support on twitter about this. They told me to uninstall Minecraft XBox Edition and 1.2, restart the XBox and reinstall the games. That worked! I have not had any issues with any profile and Realms or the online servers.
