This was also on a single player world, and my armor never broke. I just died instantly

I play on pocket edition, and this completely ruined my entire game. I had full diamond armor, each equipped with mending and a standard protection 4. I had a bow with power four, infinity, unbreaking (3 i think?) and flame. I was on the ground farming blazes for XP. I was instantly killed by one single hit of a blaze furecharge, and all my armor along with weapons and items for the most part flung into the fiery lava below. I had a standard inventory, with golden apples, materials, fishing rod, usual stuff. It happened many times throughout my game, but I would be boxed in my blaze spawner area resulting in my items being safely re-pickup-able. This final time I was on my walk back to my portal and I got hit. There were no potion effects active at the time. This occurred on easy, and hard mode (as I believed it could be because the difficulty, but it does occur on all game difficulties.)
