So the issue seemed to be either the glass block at the very top of my pyramid of both the block and the enchanting table. After rebooting the server it still seems to be working though so the answer to the whole thing is...Minecraft XD

Perhaps maybe I could add you to the server whitelist for a short time so you can look at it yourself? I have asked other users to check it and it fails to work for them as well.

It won't allow me to select the power I want though that is the issue I can put a tribute in and even then it won't allow it. The thing is this exact same setup worked perfectly fine 2 days ago then yesterday it stopped working.

The Enchanting Table is a transparent block and the beam of light goes through it. My issue is that the powers won't work even though the beam of light is on and the pyramid is perfect.
