Haven't been able to test if this is still happening with the full release of 1.14.2 but it definitely still occurs in 1.14.2 PRE-4. I've found them spawning inside slabs, and either in carpet or on beds (not certain which, I didn't see it spawn in just that it was in a room where those were the only surfaces).
