Affected similarly as well.
So far not using my Microsoft account and disabling access to my network has corrected the issues. Other than complete loss of my worlds/realms maybe that's ok?
As of today, Iām assuming my issue was relevant to the post on the Mojang Twitter account the issue has since resolved.

Since resolution of this issue I have noticed however one anomaly that was not present before. That is when traveling a considerable distance, 100-200 blocks minimum, I have started seeing large clusters of enemies. Specifically zombies have began to appear in larger amounts and in clusters of 3-5 within 4-5 blocks of space. They do not appear randomly onscreen but once spotted at a distance I can avoid them typically if I have line of sight prior to them taking notice of me.
