You hit the nail on the head. We pay for this to work. They are making tens of millions of dollars every year from Minecraft, and can't seem to keep it up and running. You would think they would also communicate a little bit better about what the problem is, where they are in the process; investigating, debugging, fixing, testing, releasing. Absolutely ridiculous. Everyone should be refunded 50% of their monthly subscription cost for this outage. And to think, Microsoft slashed hundreds of QA Engineer roles. Maybe some of them could have been useful in testing whatever you released that has caused this outage.

Christian,
I wanted to tell you how I am handling this, for now.

I have 4 XBox consoles in my house. Every time I switch from one console to another, I delete my saved game first, then uninstall the game. Then, I restart my XBox, and reinstall the game. Then I play the game, select the saved game from the menu, and it asks me to download the content. This only takes about a minute or two each time, and I only switch once or twice a day so it's not too much of an issue.

I don't understand why they can't simply add an option to force a download of the current save in the cloud to overwrite the current save on the local console. That would save a lot of time and frustration.
