Can confirm this, My laptop is getting 25 FPS in 14w20b and 50 FPS in 1.7.9 Specs are: Intel Core i7 3630QM 4 cores @ 2.4 GHz 6 GB ram GT 610M Fullscreen - 1366x768
My desktop also has this issue, 30 FPS in 14w20a and 70 FPS in 1.7.9 Specs are: AMD Phenom II 840 4 cores @ 3.2 GHz 8 GB ram GTX 760 Fullscreen - 1920x1080 (+ additional 1440x900 monitor not running MC)
