In our case, yes, they also showed particles of anger. After breaking/replacing beds and giving them some more potatoes there were baby villagers again.
Wasn't there a fix to prevent breeding if there weren't enough beds? We had villagers disappearing after 1.14.3, however they still blocked beds , which prevented the villagers left from breeding to repopulate. Picking up and replacing beds resolved the issue.
