This happens to me as well but except on a Mac OS X. It crashes and doesn't show up. I tried re downloading it, but to no avail. Here is what the short part of the log that should summarize what it means but if you want the long one I will make a break in the text so you know were it begins

Never mind the log, it's to long and I can't imput it, but all it really says is it just loads the game normally, then it starts going bezerk and saying "[07:18:39 ERROR]: java.io.IOException: Stream closed[07:18:39 ERROR]: [07:18:17 INFO]: Current time is Apr 6, 2015 7:18:17 AM" a bunch of times, THEN saying it deletes my 1.8.1 in my versions. Well, here's most of it, I just took out the crap saying it started normally, and the part were it goes bezerk, I left two, near the bottom. THANK YOU 🙂

I have the same problem, EXEPT, I have the server.dat and not the _dat, but it still doesn't work, but on a OS X device. What's wrong with it?
