I had a similar issue while multi playing locally. I was closing a shulker box, and the game crashed. When i logged back in, it was gone, and the other person lost one as well.
It was the same kind of crash that has been happening since 1.16 released, where bedrock (on ps4 at least) often crash (~ once an hour).
