still lags in 1.17.11

The error code is completely random. This happens erverytime after you log out; you just close Minecraft completely, reopen and you can log back in again. Sometimes worse you need to delete and reopen Minecraft, if it still doesn't work, turn off then back on your router. Or extremely worse situations, change your WIFI or get a better one.

this is a multiplayer game so it must happen to all platforms

Recommended way for Mojang to fix:
When the unicodes from smart punctuation is detected, replace the text with the original. Or add more texts for smart punctuations to the "Minecraft" font.

This is normal because custom stuff bought/obtained are all found with internet. So if you are offline it only knows Steve and Alex because they are all installed in the game already. But for the accessories/bought items/etc. will not load because there are in the servers and Minecraft can’t load it.
