Here's my problem: I spawned in a mesa biome, and after setng spawn base I set out to find new biomes. These are by far the only biomes I found excluding the variations and tehnicals: Mesa, Roofed Forest, Savanna, Desert, Plains, Forest, Ocean. 90% of the time I kept getting the drylands biome type (Mesa, Desert, Savanna), and one of these biomes would extend akk the way to like 2-5k blocks. If you think that ain't much, then let me tell you it was that kind of situation for around 60 km in negative co-ords both X and Z. Mojangsters, if you read this you might want to alter the generation just a tiny wee bit in a few way: make biomes smaller, include some not-so dramatic biome type contrasts.
On the account that Geoffrey Hyde reported about the settings of realistic world generation or fictional: please really DO apply those settings into world generation, preferably in the next update. If not, the next major update.
