I've been have the same problem. The only way to quickly move stack into a chest until the bug is fixed, is to switch to the classic gui. 😞

I'm experiencing that same issue. The visual graphics just start freaking out and make the game pretty much unplayable. I managed to make a screen recording of the glitch.
