Have the same problem on two iPads at my house. One of them started getting stuck on the loading screen 2-3 weeks ago. The other one which is updated more often started getting stuck today. My child and I are pretty frustrated. Restarting our devices did not help, and haven't found any work around.

There are reports in other places online of people experiencing this issue. Maybe it's a new repro of this issue: https://bugs.mojang.com/browse/MCPE-35078
