Having the same issue this afternoon. Moving is jerky/laggy and slow and if I hop on a block I start sliding backwards to the next block. Thought it was a system resources issue so tried reloading Minecraft and no joy. Rebooted my Surface Pro and loaded MC with no other programs running and behavior persisted. This is in 1.15 pre-release 2. Although I had no issues in this version yesterday.
UPDATE: Reverting to 19w41a fixed movement misbehavior although I'm not sure if it corrupted the world I was using.
