I am unfortunately not the server host. I tried doing it in vanilla minecraft and it did work so you are right it is probably just aternos. I think we will just use commands to grant us that one achievement. Thank you for your help with everything!

So currently I am on an Aternos sever (paper) 1.21.7. I have a tamed wolf and I crafted armour for them and placed the armour on my wolf. I tried to shear the wolf while it was sitting, standing, leashed, and unleashed. Nothing seems to trigger the advancement. It might be a bug with Aternos or the paper server.

Not sure if this is the same bug but some buried treasure maps that i had stored in a chest at my base that previously contained map are now blank. others were changed to random maps that i had already created. it almost looks like some of the buried treasure maps were replaced by clones of other maps.

ive been playing this same world since 1.14 and updating it with each new version which is now minecraft java 1.20.1

the last time i checked these maps was in version 1.19 so i could have happened any time

This issue is present in Java 1.19. the villager sleeps in a bed but spends all waking time pacing back and forth unless the bell is rung then stands on a bed but then resumes pacing

Sounds pretty much the same as what I'm doing. Maybe try another clean install of Minecraft with reboot. Install Minecraft from the Windows Store and don't install the Oculus Minecraft thing.

Also maybe check that all your Windows and GFX drivers are up to date.

I created a Windows shortcut  with "minecraft://mode/?OpenXR=true" without the quotes as the target. And I just tried, it also works if you paste that address into a browser.

Having said that, it does still seem to be quite buggy in this mode:

• The drawing distance is very low regardless of the settings.

• Movement often stops responding to head gaze direction.

• You can't use a gamepad to walk, only the Touch controllers.

It looks like this issue is finally fixed after only 4 years. Or maybe not fixed, but no longer relevant:

The newest version of Bedrock Minecraft supports OpenXR and no longer uses the old Oculus Minecraft launcher App to run in VR. This worked for me:

• Uninstall the Oculus Minecraft App and Minecraft itself.

• Reboot.

• Install Minecraft.

• Start in VR mode by making a shortcut to "minecraft://mode/?OpenXR=true".

Its been a week already and hoping it won't take a whole "month" to finish. I know its because of the whole pandemic going on and we get it, lack of employees or time, but its a huge company I'm guessing here to fix a small issue.

I'm afraid that if I keep playing Minecraft on the Switch while this bug is going on, it might do severe damage on the console, so I'm doing different games just to buy time when the bug fixes.

I think around a couple weeks or more than that, really hoping this bug won't happen again. Also Mojang has to give compensation to people who already have/purchased the realm.

Anyone still tried Minecraft yet with no freezes/crashes?

Not too be a negative Nancy here, but 4 whole days and no changes? Why won't they give like a estimate instead of making us wait? Its better to know then know nothing at all or give some updates at least

Still waiting on the bug fixes, just do a go back on the update fix it and let it progress, my friends are still playing minecraft on their consoles and waiting for me still to get on. Its been 3 whole days with no minecraft, might as well Uninstall it, until it goes back to normal.

The Microsoft account on Minecraft always logging me out whenever I enter the game. I have to keep logging in just to play multi-player and such.

My Switch randomly freezes or lags when I recently got it 5 months ago. My internet is great, but when I play single player, game randomly lags or frame drops for no reason. I have tons of storage on my system. It also freezes or crashes whenever I save and quite the game, making me force restart the Switch multiple times

i miss-typed i do have 21 beds

I had recently updated my world to 20w13b and this no longer seems to be an issue for me. as long as there are enough beds, all of the villagers will sleep properly, although it will sometimes look like some of them are merging together slightly if the beds are all next to each other lol
