I am having this issue on my Realm. I tested it out in a creative world and had no issues, sniffers found seeds within its time. But on my Realm they haven't found a single seed and I have 2 sniffers and they're both in different parts of my base. I've been trying to get seeds for the last 3 days and not a single one has been dug up. The sniffers just walk around and sniff the air. 

On my realm I just recently hatched a sniffer egg and waited for it to fully grow up that was a few days ago. I have 2 sniffers in different areas and neither one of them have found a single seed. I even took a sniffer around my base and still didn't find one. I went into a Creative test world I have and put a sniffer in it and waited for it to grow up and when it did and after its cool down it found a seed. But for some reason on my realm 2 sniffers haven't found a seed for the last few days.
