Ok I just found out some thing. If you make a large room (say 50x50x50) and you give it a two block laired roof you will not get the light glitch that you see in all the screenshots. The best part about it, it is repeatable! This was tested in snapshot 13w06a

Third shot by me is just to show the F3 screen to show that the sunlight is at a level of 15, of light.

I am still experiencing this bug in Snapshot 13w06a, one picture is taken in the day and the other was taken at night.

So I tested your theory and guess what...It works, it got rid of the light bug! All I did was remove the -1 from the line "this.getBlockID(var2, var4 - 1, var3)" hopefully the team of Mojang will have a closer look at this part of the code and see what is going on there. I don't want to keep on removing that silly little number all the time when the game updates. 😉

Im still getting FPS drops in the new snapshot 13w05b I used to get 120 FPS easily with max settings in the earlier snapshots like in 13w01a now I am getting like 40-60 fps. I only started to see this drop in 13w05a and up.

Helps if I know what most people are calling there reports :/ and I did use the search function, and I found nothing. the most logical search that I typed was Lighting Glitch and it turned up nothing.

funny tho I was not holding onto a helmet when the crash happen. I was holding onto a sign.

Thanks Tails. I moved it down one block and it puts the items in the hopper cart. how ever the name "dropper block" is misleading.

I did a fresh install and the items are still being fired over the cart with the hopper in it, and not dropped into it.

Sorry tails but it is not doing what you say it should be doing.

Well Tails I will see if that is true, but some thing seems fishy with the dropper. I will test it out and see if what you say is true or not.
