Was about to post same but under private listing because I belive the ID Number to be a unique Identifier, please inform on what to do if we get this issue as there is nothing in any of the minecraft support pages regarding this error.
I’ve seen this on a multiplayer server of 1.13-pre1 as well. The leaves are missing from a neighboring chunk when the logs spawn directly on the edge of a chunk. Never thought to check and see how frequently it happens or if it’s only specific types of trees or specific chunk edges.
This issue has been resolved for me.
