My son just had this issue. He was on his ipad and exited the game while the end credits were rolling, or I may have stopped the server on my windows 10 machine, not sure which one happened because we played it a few weeks ago.
Now when he attempts to join it starts rolling the credits and crashes at the end. If he skips it does nothing but if he taps skip multiple times it eventually crashes.
As a workaround, I was able to download an nbt editor found here: https://www.universalminecrafteditor.com/. I located his player record and changed the dimensionId from 2 to 0, saved it and restarted the server and restarted his app by swiping it closed. When he joined he was brought into the overworld. I hope this helps someone else.
The latest version did not fix it but I will say that we were on an older version when we exited the game during the credits. So I'm not sure if we would have been able to recreate the problem on the latest version but we were certainly not able to recover from the problem on the latest version without editing the nbt file.
Also, it appears the bees cannot enter a beehive from the side where the comparator is placed, which I would assume is the correct functionality. This however, causes them to be trapped.
