— Fixed in 1.14 Pre-Release 4.
I tested it just now and it seems to work now. However, I did have it where a Villager's profession did not update when their job defining block was destroyed, but later on when I added more Villagers it was fixed. I couldn't replicate it though, but that could be from creating the world and immediately attempting it, but I'm not sure.
I thought I read through it pretty well, but I guess I let a few misspellings slip through. Thanks for catching that.
Actually never mind, it actually was changed and it works as intended. I thought the toggle sound meant that the "off" and "on" sound was literally the same sound (turning it off and on would have sounded the same). The patch note is actually referring to how these sounds now use the same sound file, not two separate ones. It does in fact use one sound file in 24w19a, though the turn off sound has the pitch set to 0.75, making it sound different. Whoops!
The issue can be marked as Resolved, that was a mistake on my part and assuming that it didn't change when it in fact did.
