Thank-you for your response. As a decent person I feel It is my obligation to offer my apologies. I appreciate your response and making the situation clear to me. Please understand my frustration as I am not just a single player, but I represent the server for all of my friends, yes there are only 5 of us, but they rarely play unless I have my server running. While they can still play it is hard for me to assist them in anything while my client is misbehaving.

I do however have good news, through trial and error, I have determined that it was part of the HDpatch that caused some of the stress on the system, when I reapplied the patch and took away the NEW 'better grass' feature, the game stopped crashing when applying an HDtexture. However I believe, and this is only a theory, that it is not one thing causing the crash, but the overall stress on java. Because even with this newly discovered avenue I cannot run Zombe's mod under ANY texture, standard, non-standard non-HD, or an HDtexture.

If you keep watch on this post, I will add any other new discoveries I find...or if there is a better place to post ideals, theories, please let me know. I am curious to know your opinions on this.

I was hoping in my extended description of the problem, that you would not treat me as a basic user. Granted I am not a modder and there are many things about computers I don't understand, but I am not a basic user.

I have tried other texture packs, and as my description above states this effects all HD texture packs. I would claim this to be a HDpatch issue, except that other friends have not experienced these issues, and I would claim this to be a texture pack issue except for the same reason. Finally I would claim this to be a corruption in my JAVA files, except that minecraft works fully under normal circumstances, and I have (as my description states above) already re installed JAVA.

Please I would ask that you not treat this issue as trivial. I admitted truthfully to using 1 (one) mod, Zombe's, but (as my description states) I have tested without the said mod and experienced the same problem.

Please don't just dismiss this; I realize I am only 1 of 8 million players, and therefore mean little to Mojang, but until now you have had my full unwavering loyalty as a player, I have until this time had nothing against this company, and always been able to brag about minecraft.
