Actually, upon closer inspection, what I said is not true, which is at odds with this scenario...
in other words, half the village was rendered one day, the other half was not rendered the next... but the same snapshot (13w37b) was present at both times. So, this cannot be attributed to a change in version.
I created the world again with the same seed/large biomes (as the original is) and /tp'd to the coordinates and there is no village at all...
so presumably in 13w36b, a village spawned there and the rendered chunks ceased in the middle of town... and then after I got 13w37b, the village no longer was there, but the terrain itself was the same... giving the appearance of sliced houses...
I think this one is a non-starter.. sorry
=)
Large biomes required
-7227980524437373861 @ -414 x 69 x -2758 ... on the off chance that half the village was loaded before a change in snapshots, I am remaking this world... brb
yip yip, I did... but the keywords that made sense to me didn't turn up anything that looked like it at all. =)
sounds like it; thanks for looking =)
you know... I was about to say they might not apply because i'd never used the seed 'rainbow connection' before having seen it on your front page... BUT, I do recall that I accidentally started a world NAMED 'rainbow connection' first without having set the seed, so I did immediate delete and recreate... so yes, odds are good that this is a duplicate of those, albeit modern
just to be absolutely certain you get the right seed and i didn't have a typo
Note, I had been in the game all of 5 minutes upon finding this AND the game was created AFTER the installation of 1.6.2... so this isn't an inter-version confusion
apologies if dupe; I did a search for gui, and armor slots as pertaining to 1.7.2 but nothing came up, and I've never seen this in a previous version, so... good luck!
