Have done some more testing and can confirm the issue seems to be when the game autosaves. I get the rapid FPS drop (and crash) when I see the auto save indicator at the bottom right corner of the screen
@Anthony Cicinelli Thank you for your comment but I am not satisfied with your response as I did not say the words "My game is laggier". I have clearly tried to provide as much as I can, hence the video. I am fully able to cooperate if you need me to take further actions.
If you see the video attached, this is what I experience on a consistent basis, so there is no specific scenario needed. It's simply a big performance issue, and a considerable performance drop, so I would argue this is a legitimate bug given the fact I can reproduce this specific bug. Note I am a veteran Minecraft player who has played the game since alpha, and this is my first ever bug report - that should hopefully indicate my intent on this issue.
As mentioned regarding hardware, my spec as attached which should be fairly normal hardware.

Can confirm the same issue on 1.18 pre-1 my end in most cases the game then crashes
