It is probably more so an ARM CPU issue rather than only Mac machines, it’s just the CPU architecture is more common in modern Macs
Having the same issue on M4 Pro & M1 Macbook Pros.
Exact same coordinate and looking at the same position, a huge FPS drop and GPU usage is crazy high
