Having this problem on a realm I'm on. We figured out that we only die when we try to take things obtained in the End, back to the Overworld. Really hope they can swiftly find a fix for this bug, as my entire group left all their stuff in the End, not to mention our Elytras and Shulker boxes haha. Any information on future developments would be appreciated!

I didn't even think of that! We managed to reset our realm a couple of minutes back, so we didn't lose all of our stuff. One of our members then went to the Overworld (they didn't have anything on them) and got a couple of chests for us to store our items in. All of our stuff is currently in the End while we all managed to get back to our bases. Next time I'm on I will defiantly look into an Ender Chest! Thank you for the idea!
