I can't duplicate this now, weirdl
I started having the freezing up issue again not long after I posted that last entry. I finally figured out that it was a problem with my x-box settings. There was an obscure setting that I never noticed before that was for letting the game DVR run in the background; it was turned on for some reason. After turning that off the problem went away. I should have reported that to you, I'm sorry.
Its fixed now. v.15.6 cannot reproduce.
I've tried reproducing this issue and happily can't. It seems to be fixed. Yeah!!
I'll add to that the corruption isn't always as severe as the one in the screenshot. And the freezing happens every time too..I also got it to happen in a new survival mode world.
yes it does . the screenshot was of a new creative flat world. It also happened in all of my old survival world; one of which completely disappeared. Here's the specs. Lenovo g-70-80 Cap. 16gb. Processor Intel r core tm i5-5200 cpu@220ghz Intel HD graphics nvdia geforce
The circuitry is identical to the tnt cannon featured in the official minecraft combat handbook; pg.84-87. I have checked and rechecked many times that I built it correctly. I have also rebuilt this cannon probably 6 times with the same result every time. There was one time that it didn't blow, and the only thing different was that I was located far away from the cannon when I opened the world.
The cannon blows up when I open the world; it also blow up if I select one of the two range selector buttons that are towards the rear of the cannon. When it blows up it the whole front half of the cannon disappears. Last time it did it there was only one dispenser left out of the four. Everything from there forwards is gone. When I do fire it the tnt that gets shot out never explodes, it disappears before it reaches its target.
I went back and checked and it was along the z axis that I had moved when the carts and mobs disappeared. I haven't been able to reproduce it though. It has never happened in the newer versions. I'm in the experimental beta now.
