I found a somewhat fix, by going into the launcher-> profile, you can enter in some random resolution and it will give you a screen that you can resize. It also will fix the start up on fullscreen mode error. It worked for me, hope this helps others!

Having the same problem except the arrow start glitching and spinning like crazy.
As you see i was messing around and I expected the arrow to go strait forward but it justs rotates right in front of the horse and falls to the ground and disappears. But when I move forward I discover the arrow a couple blocks away. I do it a couple more times and it seems to be that there is an invisable arrow flying through the air when I fire the bow while riding a horse. I searched for this issue earlier and this guy had the same problem as me. I tried to like his report but it has been saying that it's already been fixed. The guy didn't report the arrow landing where he aimed and the invisable arrow. I hope i'm not reporting the same issue.
It said that this issue was solved but it's still happening to me in minecraft 1.6.2.
No, however the problem occurred with both my mouse and trackpad.
