I don't troll I am frustrated on how buggy the game has gotten and how it's overall affecting the community as a whole, major changes like this should take over a year to weed out the bugs but instead they are trying to get things done on a set schedule, from past experience doing this causes more problems for third party people than it benefits the game, how many servers do you play on that are vanilla, I have never found a public server that is straight forward vanilla that is not for friends only reason for this is Minecraft is easy to grief and cause issue on server, so you have to wait for Spigot or other server platforms to update then after than finally the plugins for them by the time this is all done your an update behind Minecraft because the year is already half over.
As far as it is fixed I don't know why my villagers don't use doors, I am using 1.14.1 pre 2 and they can't have doors, it worked in 1.14.0 and 1.14.1 messed up the whole village, have you tied testing running 1.14.0 making a village then updating to 1.14.1 pre 1 then updating to 1.14.1 pre 2 to see. I will make a video of the issue I am having in the next couple days and post the link back here.
They simply won't use doors now, it's happening on 1.14.1 on vanilla servers, not sure if its also on single player but I can confirm that this is not to beds being the issues as they just won't interact with doors and can't go through them for whatever reason. I have removed the door and then they can go through but as soon as the doors are back up they are prevented from going to the bell or going to any beds behind doors.
Just a quick question though why are you not testing the patches on server / single player before you push out a release?
I can understand it takes longer but development will go faster with fewer bug fixes and cause the community less grief if you have a dedicated team to test for these issues before a pre-release.
I understand that there will be bugs fixed but 1.13 and 1.14 both had tonnes of bugs and it seems like it was way more bugs that could have been prevented if there was a team testing before an offical release. Many other developers test for there own bugs or have open live streams that include a team for a good test to find issues before the offical release many of these games have smaller teams than Mojang. I am just curious to why this game has more bugs than a game such as Space Engineers or Starbound.
I tried again however it seems to not be doing it any more, with or without obs up, I did get a update for OBS yesterday so it may have had a fix or something in it for that problem, not sure.
If the problem happens again is there a call number or tick number I can refer to?
Ok will do in a sec however I did find out that I managed to take a screen shot with OBS running on singleplayer, it may be a multi player bug though, I will try to take a screen shot without obs running on my private server where I was having the problem and force the game to crash.
not sure I did not take one that time,
Do you need me to get it not to work while obs is up and do that F3 + C thing again, I don't mind.
I added the crash report to the attachments above, I also had OBS up just to make sure if it has any conflicts in the report, there was also Firefox and Skype but I have never rely had problems with those two in the past.
In the small chance it is OBS could you guys ask the devs to add support for the program?
Forced debug crash report using F3 + C for 10 seconds.
There is one warning when I start the game.
14:50:19 beu Client thread warn Skipping bad option: lastServer:
I talked to my friend yesterday and he said he fixed his problem by not taking screen shots when OBS (Open Broadcast Software) is running.
Not sure if its my problem as I have not had it up at times when it has done it, I did have other software being Skype, Sony Movie Studio Platinum 13 and maybe Firefox on different accusations.
I just want to do a follow up on the issue that I had with villagers, not opening doors.
When I was setting up my profile for 1.14.1 Pre 2 something must have happened to the version because I remember selecting the version to be 1.14.1 Pre 2 but when I went it to double check it today it was on Pre 1. I went as far to download the server directly from your website and not the browser and I was going over all the settings again and it was the profile that caused the issue.
I also would like to say that, I do strongly feel that you should consider taking more time in development for the game rather than basing development on a deadline, the reason for this is you will have more times to get the game more stable before pre-release. 1.13 and 1.14 are both large updates and needed more time to test for bugs. 1.14.0 RELEASE had many problems in it and it did go through the pre-release stage. Which is why development needs to take as much time as you can before crunching in development for the year. Quality over Quantity is always better. If you want more quantity then take longer for developing the versions.
Anyhow, I just wanted to follow up on the issue and say it's been resolved.
