I am having the same issue. I cast my reel and retrieved it in the appropriate time. But I have nothing additional in my invintory. I also check to see if the catch was "dropped" by hitting a ledge but that isn't the issue. This "no catch" issue happens roughly half the time for me. Nothing, no "junk" catches, no fish, no "treasure". Just an empy reel. And I'm not simply pulling the reel in too soon or late. I fish on other editions constantly (I'm probably on of the few players who LOVES the fishing). So, I know when and how I should reel in the catch. There's Something off/wrong.
