I looked over the duplicate ticket but that does not explain why my prices raised. The villagers with the increased price only had one trade performed (which was for the paper and not the book) so supply and demand increase (especially from 9 to 59) makes no sense. additionally no other villagers or iron golems were harmed (by players) at any point leading up to this. Also I believe the issue is due to villagers the were previously obtained in 1.15.2 and were still in the save after updating to 1.16.1. I believe it could be duplicated if you have a world in 1.15.2, get some villagers and lower their prices (using a zombie to turn them into a zombie villager and then curing them), update to 1.16.1, attempt to lower prices again (using same method as previously mentioned.)
