I expect the items to be randomly distributed, but that is not what is happening. The items seem to evenly distribute between three of the recieving hoppers, but the one directly below where the feed hopper is located receives very few items. For example, by the time that the other three smokers have a stack of items, the one below the feed hopper will only have about 5 or so items. This is true regardless of where the feed hopper is placed. In an active smelter system this results in the other three smokers remaining full, while one sits empty.
