This is far beyond my comprehension that a bug like this still exists after over a year. This was fixed at some point, but still the same error appears again and again, and it seems that only Norwegians are affected.
For me as a customer, someone who has spent money on buying Minecraft, experience that the product I have bought does not work because of such a small thing is unacceptable.
Get a grip and just fix the problem that has occurred again. There is no reason for this to occur.
First case where a player could open the launcher. This player has a norwegian user, lives in Norway and has not opened Minecraft until now. I would suggest that you try to uninstall and reinstall the launcher.
I can also confirm that norwegian users cannot start Minecraft through the regular launcher, from other 3rd party launchers works great. With operating systems such as Linux and Mac seem to work just fine.
This problem has now been around for a long time and I find it strange that this has not yet been addressed and fixed. This is a huge problem for Norwegian players in particular, but there are some problems for other players too in other countries in Europe as well.
I run one of the largest Minecraft communities in Norway and I think it's a shame that I have to refer players to older launchers or 3rd party launchers so that they can be able to play Minecraft at all.
Minecraft Launcher for Windows 7/8 works.
Minecraft Launcher for Linux works.
This has become a frustrated topic among Norwegian players!
I would appreciate if this can be answered by those concerned and that we can get an update on the progress of this issue.
