I have had the same issue with pressure plates and water streams. I attached a picture to show what I have encountered
Yes that or a simple check that dirt needs an air block above to generate podzol when a large spruce tree is grown
If this is intended then we should at least have parity with Java and be able to grow spruce trees even if there is a log in the 6x6 area
This is still happening in the full release of 1.16. Mycelium is spreading to blocks that are not on the surface once this happens you can’t grow another 2x2 spruce tree in the same spot as before
