I have the same issue with Minecraft Bedrock 1.11.4 on Android.
I have the same controller (Xiaomi bluetooth controller) but a different phone (Mi A1, Android 9) My Right trigger works with all other games but not in Minecraft. Every other button is recognized except that one.

To clarify, Left trigger works fine, it's just the right trigger that doesn't.
