I had the same where i had a farmer villager and a unemployed villager in hole to keep them contained, and after i had bred them and made sure the child was there, i went a bit away to get some blocks for a project, and when I returned, the unemployed villager had disappeared/despawned. And when i did a bit of work on my project, the farmer and child has disappeared/despawned. This is super annoying because it took me 3 hours just to get both villagers 600 blocks to my house. And im pretty sure the village i took them from has no more villagers. So now that there's no villages near my house at all, how can i get villagers without cheating? I play on my phone, which is an LG Q7+ if this helps. And i have tried to wait for a zombie one to spawn but no luck.
